When you discover a new blog that is not only fun, entertaining and very heartening to read, it is hard to stop reading and not wonder what else is happening or going to happen next (IMO). Today we are going to have a change of pace, I am going to introduce you to a fellow blogger that I hope you’ll enjoy as much as I do!

Now introducing Amanda from Confessions from Householdsix! (Don’t you love her header & her slogan, ‘Don’t Ask…I’ll Tell’?)
Amanda started Confessions from Householdsix in 2007 as a way to keep her sanity. She is the proud mom of two young boys, who are 10 and 5. She is a strong mama as both of her boys have been diagnosed with Asperger’s. Not only does Amanda have her hands full with her two boys, but they are a military family too!
Why ‘Householdsix?’ For us civilian folk, it’s a military term meaning the household commander! They are the ones who make sure the kids get to school, various activities, doctor appointments, baths, homework, etc. She orchestrates and keeps tabs on the whole family without skipping a beat! Sound like you? Yeah, it probably is because as Amanda say’s so!
Amanda’s blog is chalked full of informative posts, recipes, also known as KP Duty, Military News Round Up, which is special news and info for those in the military, and posts From the Class6, which is a series of posts which will feature something amazing they are loving or learning to do! I love the Monday Mojo-Finding Your Mojo posts, they are funny, yet very thought provoking to get your rear in gear, I am definitely going to be finding my mojo with Confessions from Household Six!

How cute is she??
Amanda is an amazing woman, she not only has her hands full with two boys, but she struggles daily with pain from fibromyalgia, and is an activist for CMKAA H.R. 2288. CMKAA (Caring for Military Kids with Autism Act) is a bill that I knew nothing about! I was shocked to learn that once our service men or women retire from the military, they’re children whom have autism can NOT receive any autism services!! For more information, a better in depth explanation, and to see how you can help, please visit Amanda’s blog!
Amanda is not only a fantastic blogger with a lot of information to share; about her family, life in the military, an advocate for children with autism, as well as military families, but she is also a Media mama! She, along with four other women founded Eclectic Six Media! Amanda’s personality, that of which is fun, warm, unique, inspiring and amazingly giving, made me feel as if I have known her for a long time! It’s amazing the things you can learn about a person by being nosey! hee hee
I hope that you’ll take a minute to visit Amanda on her Blog, Twitter , Facebook, and of course at Eclectic Six Media, to get to know her a bit too!

Thank you for such a nice post! And it’s awesome of you to link CMKAA and E6M!

I love interacting with Amanda in SF but did not know all of these wonderful things bout her. I feel more drawn to her now than ever. Thanks for sharing!
I didn’t know a lot about her either and am proud to help the military families that have sacrificed so much for us in any way I can! I was appalled to read about the CMKAA and E6M bills!
Thanks for stopping by;)
I’m one of Amanda’s cohorts over at Eclectic Six Media. I’m so glad you took the time to feature her – Amanda is one of the most genuine and honest bloggers I know and I’m proud to have her as a friend!

I was a little nervous about featuring Amanda as I have only come across her in the Social Fabric forum, but I was a lot less nervous when I started reading her blog. She seems like someone I could be friends with in real life, her posts are honest, funny, touching, truthful-her and I am glad that I have gotten a chance to get to know Amanda and can’t wait to get to know her better! She is doing so much with her platfoms in raisng awareness for some amazing causes for military families and was appalled that a lot of this is going on; especially when they and their families have/are doing so much for us, our families, and our country!
I wish the two of you much success with Eclectic Six and I appreciate you stopping by, it shows me that Amanda is who I thought she was!
Happy New Year Heather;)
