Manic Music Monday is when I like to take a moment to share music that I am loving just heard and can not wait to share it with you!
When I first heard Bob Pressner’s song, King of Nothing I instantly thought of Bruce Springsteen. His voice has the raspy undertones and yet is so sultry and amazing that you realize, “Wow, he’s got it”!
Pressner’s song King of Nothing really makes you think about your life and all that is important to you. Once you’ve traveled down Bob’s journey you’ll then see why this song is a special one.
Although it’s taken Bob Pressner a while to get where he is today, he didn’t stop fighting for his dream.
Bob started playing the guitar at 15 years old. Although he still practiced his skills, Bob had to make an honest living in the workforce. But it was a traumatic experience that made him realize that he had to take a chance at fulfilling his lifelong dream – to be a professional musician.
His music videos took “Top Honors” at YouTube, having achieved tens of millions of views. Along with his new band, he sang to a full house at South By Southwest, a live performance that led to another milestone… his own Comcast OnDemand produced concert entitled, “Bob Pressner at Infinity Music Hall,” which ranked #1 in its market. The concert has had multiple airings along with TV promotions running on cable channels like A&E, AMC, ESPN, CNN, Bravo, MTV, VH1, and TBS. Bob Pressner’s success factor hasn’t stopped there either; his smash single “King of Nothing” is approaching 20 million views on YouTube.
You can find Bob Pressner’s song King of Nothing on iTunes, follow his journey on his Official Site as well as on Facebook and Twitter.
