Celebrate the 20th Anniversary of The Sandlot

As a child, one of my all time favorite movies was The Sandlot and when Chucky was old enough, I started watching it with him. And now he loves it! The Sandlot is a classic movie that a lot of people young and old alike watch and love. I'm so happy that they are releasing a Blu-Ray/DVD combo pack to celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Sandlot!

I also wanted to let the locals know that Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment is partnering with PF Flyers, the Salt Lake Bees and the Utah Film Commission for some special events to celebrate this Friday and Saturday!

You better get your game suit on and lace up your mitt because this is going to be a great time!

You'll be able to meet director and writer, David Mickey Evans and several cast members of the movie (see below) on Friday, July 19th and Saturday, July 20th as well as catch screenings of The Sandlot on the field! They will be available for autographs and photo opportunities.

  1. Ticket price is for the game and includes screening of the movie as well as the question and answer.
  • Saturday, 7/20/13 – Utah Film Commission original Sandlot location (Glendale, Salt Lake City, UT) Get your tickets here.

Coming of age movies are so cute and I loved this movie, it’s right up there in my favorite classics like the Goonies. I will be picking up my combo pack of The Sandlot up. Thank you for sharing :)
